Hotel director Sebastian Reisigl of the 4-star Hotel Oberstdorf in the Allgäu region is always up for a laugh. Even though holidays in Oberstdorf are currently not possible, he is looking to the future with optimism and using the time to gather new ideas.

Even though he's only been sporadically visiting his favorite hotel for the past two weeks and he desperately misses the joyful glances, pleasant conversations, and cheerful laughter of the guests, he quickly found his razor again. ;-)
Because burying our heads in the sand isn't an option. We're looking ahead, developing new ideas, and embracing the challenge. And all of this, of course, from home.
Sebastian ist mit Zen-Meditation aufgewachsen. Im hektischen Hotelalltag kommt ihm das immer wieder zu Gute. Unser Leben ist doch viel zu oft geprägt von Unruhe, Launenhaftigkeit und Unentschlossenheit - häufig als "Monkey Mind" bezeichnet. Wenn man sich ab und zu da raus nimmt, die Gedanken zur Ruhe kommen lässt, wird nach und nach - zugegebener Maßen mit viel Übung - auch der Geist ruhiger. Nutzen auch Sie jetzt die Zeit, um ganz bewusst Achtsamkeit zu üben und nehmen Sie die Erfahrungen auch mit in die Zukunft. So können wir bald gemeinsam alle wieder voll durchstarten.
Sebastian will bald wieder voll durchstarten und das Bedarf einer guten Vorbereitung. Die Kraft dafür holt er sich aus der Meditation und aus der Leidenschaft, anderen eine schöne Zeit im Allgäu zu bescheren. Denn so sehr wie wir unsere Gäste jetzt vermissten, so sehr freuen wir uns auch darauf, wenn wir sie wiedersehen.
