Oberstdorf is home to one of only five ski flying hills in the world. In winter, professional ski jumpers soar almost 240 meters here. You can take the elevator up and enjoy a stunning view of the mountains and Lake Freiberg. On certain dates, you can even experience the thrill of ski jumping with a virtual reality experience.

Oberstdorf's local mountain – the Nebelhorn! With its breathtaking 400-peak panorama, it's a unique destination. Families can easily reach the summit using the Nebelhorn cable car. On the nearly three-kilometer-long interactive nature trail "Uff d'r Alp," children can learn interesting facts about mountains and alpine farming at various stations.

Even though nature offers plenty of ways to cool off, outdoor swimming pools are especially popular with families with young children. Of course, you'll find plenty to enjoy here too. In Fischen, there's a heated outdoor pool with lots of attractions for kids.
