A high ropes course awaits you on the mountain, offering plenty of climbing fun. Take the cable car up and you'll find the climbing forest right next to the mountain station.

Here, 8 courses with a total of 70 elements await you at altitudes of up to almost 1,400 meters. Even children as young as 6 can explore breathtaking obstacles when accompanied by an adult.

At the Alpine Coaster at Söllereck, you'll speed down the slope in two-seater toboggans, navigating curves, jumps, and waves. Even on rainy days, you don't have to miss out on this exhilarating experience. Simply place the plexiglass covers over the toboggans and the ride can begin!

You can also take an adventure hiking trail with many interactive stations to the Hochleite inn. Our tip today, however, takes you downhill – via the Schönblickweg trail to the valley station. What makes this 2.2 km long trail exciting are the three oversized marble runs, ranging in length from 51 to 93 cm and featuring a multitude of elements.

You should definitely plan a whole day for this experience. You can start with the chairlift and a fantastic view of the Immenstadt Alpsee lake, or with a hike (approx. 60 minutes) to the top. Older children will be drawn to the Bärenfalle – Bavaria's largest climbing park – while younger children will be magically attracted to the huge Adventure Alpe. And regardless of age, Germany's longest year-round toboggan run is, of course, on the agenda for the way back down.

Here, a mystical natural experience awaits you, combining rushing water with a fascinating trail. Whether the weather is good or bad, the Breitachklamm gorge in Tiefenbach is worth a visit!

Just under 7 km from Oberstdorf lies the Fischen Squirrel Forest. Here, countless little rodents frolic. If you bring a treat like peanuts, the animals might even eat out of your hand. Combine your visit with a round of mini-golf. The new 18-hole adventure golf course features unique holes themed around the Allgäu region.

Tip: Fischen is also easily accessible by bicycle via the Iller Cycle Path.

By car or bike, it's a 20 km drive along the Iller River towards Immenstadt. Here, skiing is possible even in summer. However, it's not with snow but with water, and not downhill, but in a loop. You start with a kneeboard to get a feel for the course. Once you've mastered that, you move on to water skis before attempting wakeboarding. The obstacles are naturally off-limits for beginners, but you can learn a lot from the more experienced riders.

Important: Don't forget your swimsuit and towel.

It's the highlight of summer! Whether morning, noon, or night. Whether you want to take a refreshing dip before breakfast or need a refreshing plunge after a family hike, our hotel's own lake is always a highlight. The large diving stone is a welcome invitation for our younger guests to splash around, while mom and dad relax on the spacious wooden loungers and soak up the stunning mountain views.

Oberstdorf is home to one of only five ski flying hills in the world. In winter, professional ski jumpers soar almost 240 meters here. Take the lift to the top of the ski jump tower. You'll be absolutely amazed. The view of the mountains and Lake Freiberg is breathtaking. But can you imagine jumping from here? With the VR experience, you can experience this feeling firsthand on certain dates.

Tip: You can combine your visit with a day of swimming in Lake Freiberg or rent a pedal boat.
