Fun for the whole family

A thrilling toboggan run down the mountain, testing your courage in the climbing park, or exploring the forest, meadows, and their inhabitants on the nature trail: the Söllereck family mountain offers fun and adventure for hikers of all ages. The hiking area on the Söllereck begins not far from the Hotel Oberstdorf. Take the Söllereck cable car up towards the Berghaus Schönblick mountain lodge. Even in the 6-person gondola, you'll have a fantastic view over the idyllic Iller Valley and the Oberstdorf/Kleinwalsertal mountain landscape. Once at the top, wonderful hiking trails lead into the Kleinwalsertal valley or to the Freibergsee lake.

Söllereck Adventure World

No other mountain in the Allgäu region is as well-suited for families as the Söllereck. Children can expect play, fun, action, excitement, adventure, and much more. A real adrenaline rush awaits on a fast-paced toboggan run with the Allgäu Coaster or on a climbing tour at dizzying heights in the Söllereck climbing forest. Varied family hikes lead to the Freibergsee lake, the ski jumping hill, or into the Kleinwalsertal valley. More experienced hikers will also find plenty to enjoy. The more challenging ridge trail leads to the Söllerkopf and Schlappoldkopf peaks, and from there even to the Fellhorn or the Kanzelwand. Those who explore the nature trail can playfully discover the flora and fauna of the Allgäu.

Fast, faster Allgäu Coaster

A true highlight in both summer and winter! The toboggan run descends over 850 meters at a thrilling 40 km/h, winding its way down the mountain. But don't worry: if that's too fast for you, you can easily find your own pace using the brakes. Small jumps, rollers, and crossing the main road make this ride a unique holiday experience.

Up to the treetops

Experience nature up close

Along the 4 km long nature trail, both children and parents can learn interesting facts about the flora and fauna of the Allgäu region at 12 stations. Walking barefoot on a path made of wood chips or listening closely to explore the sounds of the forest: at the many interactive stations, visitors to the Söllereck can experience nature up close!
