In festlicher Stimmung wurde das Neue Jahr 2018 ganz nach dem Motto "Blau wie das ewige Eis" inmitten der verschneiten Landschaft des Allgäus im Hotel Oberstdorf gefeiert. Neben Live-Musik und einem riesigen Silvester-Buffet konnten sich die Gäste an Feuerwerk, Eistorte und Fotoshootings erfreuen.

Can you believe it? We've barely settled into 2017, and now it's already gone again with a bang and a shower of colorful sparks. Once again, everyone has 365 blank pages to fill.
That, of course, calls for a proper celebration—we thought—and what better way than in blue, like the eternal ice!
New Year's Eve in pictures
Bathed in blue light, the hall was transformed into the mystical hue of polar ice. A trio of dishes inspired by the blue sea, mango hummus, baba ganoush, Iberico ham, mousse variations, and much more awaited guests at the buffet, offering a culinary finale to 2017. To the sounds of live music, guests danced the night away to disco fox, rumba, and cha-cha-cha.
But the sparks weren't limited to the dance floor; sparklers adorned the champagne cake, not to mention the table fireworks at 10:30 a.m. and the grand outdoor fireworks display at midnight. Those whose stomachs were rumbling again after the fresh mountain air could fortify themselves with a warm goulash soup and delicious apple fritters, ready to dance their way into the New Year once more.
