The best Kaiserschmarren (shredded pancake) with raisins and applesauce is definitely at the summit restaurant on the Nebelhorn. The view from there is also indescribably beautiful.

Whether it's winter hiking or skiing – my favorite mountain for active days is the Ifen.

My favorite spot in the hotel is the sun terrace. I love enjoying the mountain view with a cup of tea and a delicious snack from our farmer's buffet.

I'm usually out exploring, discovering new things in the area. One place I always find myself drawn back to is the Berghaus am Söller: they serve the best Germknödel (yeast dumplings) with vanilla sauce. And a hot mulled wine to go with it. :-)

As an avid cross-country skier, I love the trail right behind the hotel – short, but nicely hilly. You can even do it during your lunch break.

My favorite winter spot in the hotel is definitely the fireplace bar – I'm sometimes a little envious when I see our guests there with a good book and a hot drink. ;-)

When it comes to the best schnitzel and fries, you'll find me at Alpe Dornach – any time of year. :-)

In winter, I love exploring the Stillach Valley or starting a leisurely winter hike directly from the hotel to the Breitachklamm gorge. The best things are often right on our doorstep.

I love cozy moments at the hotel, holding a hot cup of tea and watching the snow fall outside. Of course, only when I'm not busy sharing our favorite tips with our guests.
