Wellness in the living room – that means cozy relaxation in a feel-good atmosphere like at home: After the sauna and before the bath in the outdoor saltwater pool, you can snuggle up in spacious wing chairs and soft blankets and take a seat – preferably in a social setting – in front of the flickering fire in the open fireplace.

Hotel Oberstdorf definiert Wohlfühlen ein wenig anders

Im neuen Wellness-Wohnzimmer des Hotel Oberstdorf in Deutschlands südlichster und gleichnamiger Gemeinde kommt man sofort ins Gespräch.

Der innovative Erholungsraum ist Teil der soeben erweiterten Alpen Wellnesswelt des Hauses, das sich als Wellness-, Familien- und Tagungshotel weit über das Allgäu hinaus einen Namen gemacht hat. Eingerichtet mit natürlichen Materialien, strahlt diese 1500 m² umfassende Wohlfühl-Oase, die einen beeindruckenden Rundblick auf die umliegenden Berge eröffnet, Ruhe und Gelassenheit aus. Anfang des Jahres in nur zwei Monaten Bauzeit für 1,7 Mio. Euro neugestaltet, umfasst die Alpen Wellnesswelt nun einen beheizten Außen-Sole-Pool, Natur-Badesee, Brotbad, Steinbad, Flachsbad, Sauna-Alpe und acht Behandlungsräume für Massage- und Kosmetik-Anwendungen. Hier erwarten den Gast die Kaiserwanne, der heiße Stein, die Softpackliege, ein Rasulbad sowie ein Paarbehandlungsraum, Wasserbetten und eine Mühlraddusche für den heiß-kalten Wechselschwall.

Wer der Wohnzimmer-Atmosphäre kontemplative Stille vorzieht, liegt im Panorama-Ruheraum richtig und vor allem im neuen, lichtdurchfluteten Raum der Stille. Schallgeschützt, damit der Gast lautlos und intensiv zur Ruhe kommen kann, ist er mit komfortablen Liegestätten und -inseln sowie nach Heu duftenden Fliesen und Meditationssteinen ausgestattet.
